Title: (Solved) WR v3.97 issues
Post by: Willy2 on August 05, 2016, 02:58:25 PM
- I came across a bug in WR v3.97. The bug is located in the recently added "Repair Recycle Bin" repair. The repair counter gets "out of sync" with the amount of actually selected repairs when the user selects one or more "Repair Recycle Bin" repairs. I made a screenshot of the bug. See inside the 3 red rectangles.

- Since this problem doesn't occur in other repairs that have "subrepairs" I assume the new programcode of "Repair Recycle Bin" needs to similar to those other repairs with 2 or more sub-repairs.

Nag, nag, nag.

- The file "ie.txt" still needs an extra character at the end of that file. There needs to be an extra socalled "CR" (Carriage Return) character behind ":end" in that file. Otherwise this repair will generate an extra error in one of the WR logfiles. (The user won't see it because right after executing that MSDOS command the CMD window closes.).

- No. I fear it wasn't fixed because it's not something that's causing a fatal error in WR.

- FYI: the file "ie.txt" is not related to "Repair Recycle Bin". It's for "Repair Internet Explorer".
