Run a scan with AdwCleaner to see if you picked up any adware.

You may also want to reset your Hosts File back to default should it have inserted itself in there.

Reboot and check Event Viewer to see if you get the same Event ID.

I think we better to realize, who owns that domain; what are they spreading around?
