Hello
Tweaking repair keeps losing registration key. Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening?
Thanks
Dave

I'll pass this on.

Thank you
Let me know if there anyway to lock the registry key or anything I can do?
It is really weird it lost the key I rebooted to safe mode then back to normal windows and the key showed back up?
Thanks again for your prompt reply.

In Safe Mode it needs to be Safe Mode with Networking for it to phone home to confirm the validity of the key.
I assume you are using Win 10 which disables wireless in that mode so you either have to manually connect to your SSID or Ethernet connect to have an Internet connection for it to do so.

I am running win7 ultimate and went to safe mode without network thinking that some malware was causing it to lose the key. That was the first time I tried the safe mode. Before I just requested a new key.
Thanks again

Well try it in Safe Mode with Networking and you should see it display as the Pro version.

i tried it in safe mode without networking and it fixed it. So it was not a connection problem something was causing a problem with the key.

I'm not sure how that happened as it requires an Internet connection for it to confirm the licence key regardless of the mode, but whatever, if it's now fixed then that's a result.

I am not a software guy and I don't know where the key is stored. It seems like it was blocked and became unblocked when going to safe mode? I have no idea what caused this. I am just reporting what happened.
Thanks again

If you ever need to reinstall Windows Repair Pro - open Windows Explorer - Windows C: - Program Files (x86) - Tweaking.com - Windows Repair (All in One) - settings.ini you will see the product key number near the top of the page for which you can make a note of.

ok thanks

I protected tweaking.com windows repair folder. I hope this negates any loss of the key.
Thanks again
