Dear Technical Support,
I am running Windows 10 version 1903 (build 18362.175). When I ran Windows Repair 2918 version 4.5.2, it found 30 errors in the Repair reparse points section of the program. All of the errors have this error message:
" SHCreateDirectoryExW Returned An Error, Error: 21 - The device is not ready." I ran this program in safe mode but it could not repair these errors.
Can you explain what this error message is and how to repair these 30 errors properly? Thank you for your help.

I seem to have similar results but mine was for two relating to recorded tv paths not existing and this is what the repair reported -

Do you get any more info with that error as I have so you can see what it relates to ?
I ignore mine as I don't use recorded tv.
I've had a reply from Shane but he's extremely busy with calls coming in left, right and centre from his computer repair business, but when time permits, he will have a look at this.

Hello,
Yes, in my case there are 30 errors each with a different path. In my case the error code is 21 for all 30 errors, whereas in your case it is error code 123 for 2 errors.
I notice that all the errors come from the apps downloaded Microsoft store library. I think some apps in the Microsoft Store were not installed or uninstalled properly.

In Settings/Update & Security/Troubleshoot there is an option for Window Store Apps.
I'll run it and then try the Pre-Scan again but I don't know why the path should be incorrect.
I'll just run that in normal mode as I did last time.

For me it wanted me to create a MS account and gave more info in NET MSG 2182 which a Google suggested resetting the Store Cache by going Start - type wsreset and right click on it when it comes up and select Run as administrator.
However, a rescan produced the same two Reparse Point problems.
I haven't downloaded anything from the Store and the WR report says the target path doesn't exist for those two Reparse Points.
What does the troubleshooter give for you ?

Hello,
I ran the troubleshooter for Window Store Apps but it did not find anything. "Troubleshooting could not identify the problem"

If you haven't noticed any adverse effects or if Event Viewer doesn't have anything of note recorded, then you could ignore them until Shane has a look at your thread.
