I try to repair Windows system using a boot CD but there is no option to repair Windows?
Any idea what's going on?
-
When you boot off the cd it should come up with an option to hit "R" to do a repair.
AT the same time there are better ways of doing a repair

You said it was the same cd you installed with. So it shouldnt matter

ok than and So why the repair option does not appear?
-
LIke I said I dont know. It is the same cd you installed with.
Perhaps because your cd is outdated and you installed service pack 3?
You just did a reinstall why do you need to do a repair install already?

Your going to need a xp cd with SP3 on it then to get the repair option.
Also remember that a lot of viruses will get on your system off sites with infected ads through java and or flash. Always make sure those are up to date
