If this occurred following the 2004 update, then boot into the advanced boot options by pressing and holding SHIFT throughout a Restart.
Click on Troubleshoot/Advanced options and then on Uninstall Update.
The 2004 update will have been a feature update, so select that option.
I'm not sure if you have to give a reason why you want to uninstall it, but after uninstalling the update, check to see if your search bar has returned to white.
If it has then click on the Windows icon then on the Settings cog - double click on Update & Security and click on Check for updates where the 2004 update should re-present itself.
It may have been a bad install,

Can you remember if it was okay prior to the last update ?

I've just been reading up on that version of Win 10 and it may be best to create a system image onto external media before making any changes.

Hi,
maybe it's april update !!!!!!
by the way "microsoft update: the update that break your systems"
as i am using licensed version of tweaking.com Hop that this problem will be addressed in the next update,
also most users have this problem "black search bar"
Thanks

Are you hoping that the next Microsoft update will fix this or the next update of Tweaking.com Windows Repair ?
If it has been caused by a MS update then it's unlikely that WR will be able to do anything about it and it would be best to contact Microsoft about it.
Hopefully if it has affected a large number of users then they should have been working on it and released a remedial update by now.

Hi,
Hope that will be fixed by WR

Hi,
when i check taskmgr process i found that SearchUI.exe is suspended
thanks,
-
Reading through the following article would suggest that wasn't caused by a Windows Update.
https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-searchui-exe-suspended-on-windows-10/
The dism cmd it refers to is -
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Followed by sfc /scannow
Which antivirus program are you using ?
