Hi
I ran the latest version and restore says, no restore points are available. I had a ton of updates installed in my windows vista and I want them back.
Any help would be appreciated. I think I'm going to be very sorry that I ran this tweak.
Thanks

What tweak did you run?
None of my tools remove installed windows update.
The repair windows update of mine is referring to the updater itself, not installed updates and follows the same things the MS page says to do.
Open your add and remove programs. Put a check on show windows updates and you will see your updates are still installed.

You're referring to 2 different things here. Restore points are not the same thing as windows updates.

You said updates, so that's why I thought you meant Windows updates :-)
First what tweak did you run?

Sorry Shane, I was referring to Tucker's post - not yours. I should have specified.

Sorry. The updates were not uninstalled. They just did not show in update history.
I meant to say, that I thought your tweak created a restore point and it was not there.
There must be something wrong with my system restore. I had a problem with that before.
Thank you all for the quick answer. I believe it was version 1.50

The program doesn't auto create a system restore point. The user needed to do it. But in new versions I have it ask the user if they want to make one :-)
The Repair Windows updates removes the Windows updates and resets it. This is needed when Windows updates gets corrupt. So the history will go with it.
But your updates are still there as you seen so you should be ok
