Hi Shane i have attached a file (notepad)

I want to stop using the CCleaner Registry part of this program, but might be able to give some info.

The attached i have not fixed via CCleaner Registry cleaner.

The file contains what CCleaner has picked up, does this look familiar?

The "omni" file is a file i have deleted recently.

Never heard of a .omm and I dont have that key on my system. Should be safe to delete.

Hi,      CCleaner cleans all the unused file extension of downloaded programs. When you download a program, program do add files in the registry, in the process of installation. So those which does not have windows file system files, unused file extension etc are removed by the ccleaner.
those are  not  windows default registry entries. These are probably left over entries or keys left by the downloaded programs. I am using ccleaner and i will select fix menu to fix all those. I do not have any problem with it. Thank you

I have attached another txt file that i ran with CCleaner Registry Cleaner after WINDOWS UPDATE

What does all this mean, should i delete or is there something to read into?

It is saying that those reg keys point to files that are not there. I dont use ccleaner so I cant tell you what is best. But ccleaner does make a backup of any changes it does, so if you have problems you can always restore what it removed :wink:

Hi,    Ccleaner once analyse would have asked you if you want to clean on computer and application cleaning. After you run registry clean, it will ask you, if you want to create a restore point. So, as above advised, do create a restore point, and then clean. if any problem, you could revert to restore point to save the computer.But so far as me, i will believe it clean everything.
         There is also a possibility of deleting individual keys. The ccleaner will give the suggestion, and then you can keep those entries or not. Good luck. The ccleaner cleans, but the allone tools in this tweaking com protects all your windows file and a wowwre wow is a useful tool for computer handlers, who has to individually download fixes from anywhere. It is a quick fix for most of the windows problems.
