Hi Shane, thanks for the last fix you helped me fix. That tool SFCFix is great.Okay i have one problem i can't figure out even after getting in touch with Asus and American Megatrends who made the Bios for my computer.I'm using a desktop Win 7 sp 1 64-bit and it's only 3 years old.Every other day when i start up my computer the bios page comes up and the clock and date are always off.If it's 12 pm the clock will be on 1 am 2002.So,i press f1 go into bios fix time and date ,save and leave. But i never had this problem before and even after i did a complete re-install it's still happening.I know the battery on cmos could do this but before i change something like that when computer is not very old i would like to know what you think and if you have any suggestions.Thank You once again Tim.

Hi Shane , thank you once again for helping fix a problem on my computer.I checked the event viewer and nothing there except -The windows error reporting service entered running state. Also system start driver failed to load Amdkmafd. But that was it.But this time when i ran chkdsk /f /x it cleaned up 7 unused index entries from index $SII of file 0x9.When i went to the site to get sfc fix tool and ran it there where no errors or corrupt files found. So,thank you very much.I have one problem left though, why would my clock on computer have to keep being fixed because it is at different time almost everytime i start my computer ?

Hi Shane,I am getting it when i run your program on the check Disc part.So then i ran sfc /scannow and it said there were corrupted files that WMI could not repair. So,i ran CHKDSK on boot with CHKDSK /f and that did not fix. Then i ran CHKDSK /r and that did not repair it either.??? Thank You Tim

Hi Shane, i'm having some problems after trying sfc /scannow multiple times and also trying CHKDSK /f at boot and also CHKDSK /r at boot and nothing will fix The (MFT) Bitmap attribute is incorrect. Also,The Volume Bitmap is incorrect.I checked on forum and could not find the same problem reported anywhere. One other thing,my clock time keeps changing and then i get my Bios page up on start up sometimes ,so,i fix time and get out of bios.Im using Windows 7 sp1 64 bit and i just did a complete re-install a week ago.My computer is an ASUStek desktop 1730m/1830.  Thanks for any help anyone can give.Tim.I use your program all the time and still love it.....Oh can you possibly give me the code for CBS logs to desktop...This one (findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt) does not work....Thank You

Every time a disc check is run even under /f or / r , i keep getting an error in index On the Check disk system in 2 areas of Index??? I'm not getting errors inside checkdisk ,i mean it completes itself. But then in Event Viewer and Glary's Utilities i see Errors. Can you help ? Included is the event from Glary's Utilities. Hi Shane,I just want to do a complete repair install with a different Win 7 like you instructed me to do last time. But I can't find the instructions anywhere .So, once again can you direct me to web site where i can get instructions.I have tried winmgmt /verifyrepository and it says consistent but Tweaking repair telling me no Auto Recover on 30 Mof files. I tried to resetrepository and that didn't work .Also WMI diagnostic tool told me same thing that tweaking repair did.Thank You

Thanks Shane for your help, i have Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM SP1 64 BIT Asus computer. The first site you listed said cant be shown or has been moved ? I checked the bootable first, then the river site and both said same thing???

Shane, okay i meant the DISM/online/Cleanup-Image/RestoreHealth  Command and also ,the one you gave me DISM/online/Cleanup-Image/SpSuperseded . They both came back with error 87. When i put your command in it also said didnt recognize the command line ? Thats what i meant.also said something about permissions ? Okay i ran disk clean up and it got rid of and replaced alot of things in cbs but there where things in log which i didnt bring because its the whole log .For some reason it didnt go to desktop. One was a windows update KB2479943 codepack basic package amd 64 6.1.7601.17514 applicability was a problem and it was skipped. So, i got rid of it.Ran sfc still have corrupted files. Thanks for taking time to teach me Shane i appreciate it.Tim

14
Shane, thanks i will try that now (cleanmgr.exe) .I have a guestion for you,how do i put permissions on DISM folder ? Is that just right clicking on admin before i open ?

15
To Shane, i dont know what disk clean up wizard your talking about ? When i put i DISM/online/cleanup-image/SpSuperseded I got an error code back 87 .Also, it said option unknown.Anytime i have tried Dism it hasnt worked for me yet its in my computer because, it tells me to check like the DISM codes and how to use ,but ive never had any luck. Thanks for help.

16
Okay this is what i got Shane.I tried the DISM/online/cleanup-image/SpSuperseded. i got error 87 Option unknown. In the event viewer i found a few. Here they are. Event 7026 amdkmafd failed to load-Event 7001 net tcp listener adapter failed to start-Event 7003 service control none. Event 46 volmgr none crash dump initialization failed.??? Thanks for the Bday .Tim.

To Shane, I turned 58 today friend. lol ,so this will be great i hope this works.I have tried Dism before but not written like this.Ill check event viewer too. Thanks alot for your help ,your time and the programs and tools you make to help old timers.lol Thanks Tim...

Shane, thanks for the tool it told me something but i missed it because, it usually takes along time for that system check but not with your tool. Is there anywhere i can find what it said when completed test ? I went away from computer and when i came back test was done fast and i didn't catch enough to know what it said. So, i ran again but got nothing .Then i ran sfc and still corrupt files there.I dont have code to get CBS logs to desktop.Sorry Shane and thanks.

Hi Shane, thanks for fast reply. When i run CHKDSK it says couldnt fix some problems, Check CBS logs. When i checked only thing i found was system restore failed to extract file-(c: Windows\System WOW 64\en-us\csrss.exe.mui. That was it. I put in repair disk to see if it would help, did not.I ran up in the restore area, repair start up because i figured when Windows boots it might get file,no good.I did fix Masters file table and Volume Bitmap thats it.Also, when i run tweaking program the Avast anti spyware i have even with shields off seems to block some of the programs repair efforts.Do you need that info ? Thanks again.

Hi Shane , want to thank you for help last time first.Okay , i mentioned i bought ASUS disks to re-install last time.Well there support said just put in disc 1 then 2 so i didnt do a clean install.Well everything was good until i got a program virus as soon as i went online because the spyware on disks was expired.I couldnt believe it,i was so mad i could have...... Anyway, now i have the same problem with f parameter and ive ran sfc /SCANNOW to many times to mention and also CHKDSK .Now check disk goes fine its sfc says Windows resource protection found some corrupt files it could not fix. Also,no matter how i try to run CHKDSK /f    or /f /i /r / it has to be done on boot i cant do inside windows because of volume being used.I even tried to dismount didnt happen. Also when i try to run CHKNTFS it told me it was write protected ? I have no clue. Can you also show me correct way to write NETMESSAGE HELP 3251 because when i do it i get nothing. Also could not get dism going.I did try bootrec/rebuildbcd everything was going good till this command didnt work.attrib C:\boot\bcd-h-r-s   it said not recognized as command.the only thing i found missing was (C:Windows\sysWOW64\en-us\c8rss.exe.mui) Thanks for any help

Hi, sorry i wasn't able to get back to you as quick as you got back to me Shane.First i just want to tell you i bought the 3 disks for my Asus Essentio Desktop cm 1730-01 . I'm running Windows 7 sp1 64 bit. I think my worst problem now is When i run sfc /scannow and system checker The scan only runs in read mode because it says F parameter not specified on system checker read mode only.So i don't believe anything i do in windows now will fix.I've run Diagnostic tools, and did just about everything except take new files from downloaded Win 7 sp 1 64 bit ISO . Besides F Parameter, i have no cross reparse point from tweaking program, also ive tried everything even shut Avast off in services but somehow it blocks your program. Missing Microsoft xml parser ,tweaking program saying modify access controls lists on object %WINDIR%\assembly see if applicable file folder c:\Windows\assembly has an explicit ACE set and needs to be fixed. Also Windows\assembly temp has explicit ACE .Windows\assembly GAC_MSIL\IEEXEC Remote has explicit ACE set. Two more things and i think thats it Shane. ICS not started call to get named security failed, set ACL reading for SD failed cannot find file specified and Windows\system32\WOW 6432 node contains wild card. Last but not least, just past 2 days this has come up on monitor right after windows opens, [Shell class info] localized\resource name z @%System Root% \system 32\shell32.dll,-21787.Thats it and enough problems for sure, but with all those problems my computer still running and i can do what i want on it still ? But i did have like 332 errors in one day on event viewer.I know thats alot and i probably should have just listed exact problems. But i always do this. So, if you think i should just do my re-install with three disks , maybe you can tell me the best way to do.Disks come with no info whatsoever from US.ESTORE.ASUS.Com . Thats the only place i was able to get in this country. I had to get disks because Microsofts remote help in past installed Win & over my ASUS section on partition. Thank you for any help and thanks for getting back to me so quick before. Thankfuluser.

Hi jraju, thank you for getting back to me so fast , i realize the tweeking logs didnt have all i mentioned because they were erased by another program. That wont happen again.I tried alot of what you mentioned already and more. The system update readiness tool, 5 or 6 fixits and most did help in one area or another. But i tried the DISM (%windir%|logs|cbs|cbs.log) in very begining and windows couldnt find path. But DISM did help me get updates back with the DISM.exe/online/cleanup-image/restorehealth . I dont know how my anti-virus software blocked the Tweeking program that night because i shut it down same as other nights ? I will try all steps you suggested again and see what happens this time. One question if you have the time in the next few days .When i was on Microsoft site it told me 4.5.1 was not for my computer ? After my first restore attempt , i used system image i think thats why no user info is mentioned in Tweeking program. But all the builds for frame works were gone in my program  uninstall area and one i tried to repair the active x  program and a window came up telling me to find the file ,like theres no association there. Then windows update sent framework 4 and 4.5.1 but 4 never got in.??? Thanks i will let you know how i do. Thankfuluser.

When i posted earlier i got hung up trying to get the logs from tweeking program and didnt know any other way to get them to you. So,had to do it this way.I couldnt get back into my post. But you know that already most likely .So, here goes .. Alot of the things i mentioned were erased over the past few days from tweaking folder. So im hoping the log can help and there is another one,i just cant remember how i even got this cbs log i didnt sleep all night insomnia. Thanks again for your time much appreciated and your tweaking program.
