I did a little research and I found out that the virus I got stuck with had this exact purpose, to corrupt the sxs. I found a thread in Toms hardware. There was a guy struggling with the same error. This error brings up another ten. We had exactly the same errors! Also, note that a repair install after the virus attack will not work. A clean install will do. Thank you for your support. Dont forget to check out the thread, that guy has some thoughts about what the problem would be.

Yes, and I have to say it is a complete solution for many errors. But unfortunatly, it wont solve my problem. I also found out what this problem is about. It occurs when the sxs component store is corrupted. Can this be solved manually?

I get this error when trying to search for updates through Windows Update. The error occured after a virus attack on my computer (my antivirus suddenly deleted its self). I ran three different virus protection tools (ESET SS 6, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool and Malwarebytes Antimalware). Kaspersky found the virus and deleted it, the other two reported nothing. I have searched the whole web, but nothing helped me solve this. If you have any idea how to solve this, please let me know. With the post you will find logs from the System Update Readiness Tool.
