General Computer Support / Computer won't SLEEP
« on: May 23, 2014, 09:05:54 am »
My Windows Seven (Professional 64bit) won't go to sleep no matter what I set the Power Options at, and if I force it to sleep it comes out in a short time, and the screen saver won't work. I've done everything I can think of and not sure if one of the "tweaks" is the one to use ... but would love some suggestions.

(A) I ran some Simple System Tweaks and would now like to run some additional ones. Not sure if the next time around I un-check the first batch of changes and just check the new ones ? or leave them and add new ones ?

(B) If I want to roll back one or two of the changes can this be done ? or does the restore just bring it back to where it was before I did any tweaks ?

Feedback & Suggestions / All-in-one WMI repair needs more debug/help
« on: October 31, 2012, 04:57:05 pm »
First .. thanks for being the only person that has developed a WMI repair (that isn't pages of total geek gobble-de-gook that us users can't figure out) !
Something went wrong (?) and my XP(SP3) no longer recongnize my Norton Internet Security antivirus and firewall. My reading lead me to believe it was an WRI problem and your all-in-one had a repair routine.
I ran it and the log (below) indicated a problem but left me with no next-steps or way to figure out what was missing and/or how to proceed ... some more debug/error info would help
