General Computer Support / Disc repair and check disc both hang up before they are finished

Vista service pack 2
  Today when I ran your program checkn disc froze about two thirds of the way through the check emty clusters . I let it run for several hours and it was stil on the same cluster . It was turned off and started a second time and the same thing happened at the same spot on the disc .
  Windows repair froze on section three - Reset Service Permissions -  of the repairs . I tried this again and got the same results . It would rum for a couple minuted and the stop on repair servise permisssions . This time I had it quit working on section 4 . It finished the rest of the repairs in a few minutes .What suggestions do you have about fixing this ? There are several other problems wit my laptop that I will start another post on .
I notice the log folder has the wrong times on the logs .

General Computer Support / I get a message when I try to check for updates -online version error .

Well I got Reimage Repair and tweaking removed from my system and reinstalled Tweaking . When I started the program I tried to check for updates but I get a message - online version error . What do I do now ?

General Computer Support / I ran AVG scan you sell and now tweaking will not open

I downloaded the updated version of your program . When I did there was a scan tool you recomed trying . this program from AVG did the scan and found three viruses . One of these viruses was contained in the tweaking program . When it's scan was finished the progrem froze . I had to use the task manager to close it . I then ran Tweaking and it did the first scan and I ran the first repair program and when it rebooted tweaking will not open .
I now went back to try to figure thing out and found that there are five processes of tweaking.exe running at once . I tried using the task manager to close them but they will not close I guess I will have to try to reboot again .
