Thanks the instructions for which registry keys that need to be removed would help.

Now down to just 2 files.

Scanning Windows Packages Files.
│ Started at (12/6/2015 10:02:03 AM)

│ These Files Are Possibly Corrupt (Bad Digital Signature): (Total: 2)
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB2454826~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.2.0.cat
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB2454826~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.1.2.0.mum

2 Combined Problems were found with the packages files, these files need to be replaced (These mainly only effect installing Windows Updates.)
│ The SFC (System File Checker) doesn't scan and replace some of these files, so you may need to replace them manually.

hopefully this is the cause of my 800b0100 errors while trying to install SP1.

Any  help is greatly appreceated.
Please and Thank You
Jim

General Computer Support / Missing windows Packages
« on: August 05, 2015, 07:04:14 pm »
I am missing the following files according to All=in-one-repair.  Guidance in how to replace would be most appreciated.  Hopefully that will solve my Windows update issue -- error 80244001 which is common update error for XP but I am running Windows 7.  Attached is the full report from AIOR pre-scan.

These Files Are Missing: (Total: 6)
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_1_for_KB3035583~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.cat
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_1_for_KB3035583~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.mum
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB3035583_RTM~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.cat
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB3035583_RTM~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.mum
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB3035583~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.cat
C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB3035583~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.20.mum

Problems were found with the packages files, these files need to be replaced (These mainly only effect installing Windows Updates.)
The SFC (System File Checker) doesn't scan and replace some of these files, so you may need to replace them manually.
These files do not keep the repairs from working, you may still run the repairs in the program.

General Computer Support / Is all in one safe to use on 2008 SBS
« on: February 12, 2015, 05:49:11 pm »
I have a 2008 SBS server that I think the services and registry could benefit from the repairs within the all in one repair.  I am a bit worried about running automated repairs on a domain controller as well as Exchange serer.
