Feedback & Suggestions / Re: "Reboot in Safe Mode"
« on: October 05, 2015, 11:00:49 am »
A vague question.  1TB hdd; 8gb sys mem.
When I try to use the safe mode from windows, it does the same thing.

I can log on as another user and use tweaking to reset win10 and restart to
a normal system.

I'm currently waiting for a return call from Microsoft.

Feedback & Suggestions / "Reboot in Safe Mode"

Hey Guys,
Love your products and help.
Today I uploaded the new v3.5.1.
When I used the link to "reboot" my machine it did so, but with a glitch.
I have an HP 400f desktop OME win7 with an upgrade to win 10 ver. 10547.
When the pc came back in safe mode, I logged on as admin and the screen began to flash
or blink.
An error code pop up explorer.exe "0x00007FFFFF176DB6 @ 0x000...054. The memory could not be read."
To log off I had to use task manager and log back in as another user.  The event reappeared but
the error started Microsoft edge and brought up "how to get help in windows 10"
via Bing.
After managing to get into msconfig I disabled non-Microsoft products,
was successful at uninstalling tweaking, then restarted the pc.  Things returned to normal.
I reinstalled Tweaking & went through the process again to make sure something else
had not caused the issue.  But I'm certain now that the "Reboot" link has a problem with
win 10.
Hope you can look into this.  I'm not by any stretch a pc tech as you know.
If I need to send an email or screen shot or remote connection please respond with instructions to help.
Thanks,

Kurt
