also, after running sfc /scannow, I now get this:

Beginning system scan.  This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

General Computer Support / running into windows 10 update issues
« on: February 03, 2020, 05:26:13 am »
Hey everyone,

I am trying to remotely update my friends Windows 10 Pro system, he has an HP all in one desktop PC and when I try to run the updates, it finds a few and says pending, i changed the active times etc to force them to start downloading and they are not, keeps saying pending, tried the upgrade troubleshooter that comes with win 10, same issue.

Please help! Thank you

Hey everyone,

I believe this is my first post here or at least my first in a long time. Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro without the October 2018 update... I ran the tweaking.com utility, as suggested, rebooted in safe mode, went straight to repair and did a "network repair" rebooted as prompted, after I rebooted, I was now asked to enter my password instead of my PIN to log in to Windows 10 Pro and once in, I can no longer enter anything into the search box on the task bar.. any suggestions? I even went back into tweaking.com repair tool in safe mode, restored my registry to before I applied the Network fix ans still the same issue. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Steve

How do I check event viewer?? Does it generate a log too that would help us narrow this down?

i swapped out the memory, still having issues, BSOD/Freeze when moving larger files from one drive to another

8
Ok, so I have 3 drives in this system.. 2x4 terrrabytes for data/games etc... and 1x250 SSD installed for OS / Apps .. i noticed that when it ry to copy files between the 2 brand new 4 TB drives my system crashes... any ideas????
last BSOD I got was trying to install a game onto the drives gave me a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD.. its not the drives, i was h aving the same issue with my older drives as well that are not longer in the system, is this a memory issue? Motherboard busted??

9
here is the full with everything

10
here is a new NFO file from msinfo32

11
okay so, I am trying to generate a new minidump for you guy and but it seems the BSODs have stopped as of this morning, however... my computer froze up 2x in the last 4 hours and no minidump was generated

12
Okay, so I have followed the explained post below, I have since had a BSOD.. where are the files I can attach to this?

13
Yes I have uninstalled the torrent client and installed another, system has been stable all morning so far.. how do i use driver verifier?

14
So, here is a brand new BSOD never seen this error message yet..

ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY Error

I  have a feeling its the memory, i have 2x8 gig sticks installed. wondering if they are configured properly will insert them to A1 slot one by one to see if its just one or both that are faulty..

sorry, no dump was created...

16
Ok, so... my computer just gave me IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 2x in the last like 20 minutes.. both times with utorrent running in the background, running one test now without running utorrent..

17
How do I get rid of AppEx Networks Accelerator ????

19
default save is NFO, export default is txt

20
I cannot figure out how to save it as ARN.. default is NFO

21
Here we go,

it generated a txt file

22
How do i generate and send you the msinfo32.arn next?

23
So I did that, restarted the computer and my system went to the desktop but I had no mouse, I than hard turned off and back on again, now I am back in the OS with working mouse...

24
so I went to add/remove, went to modify of AMD Software and clicked on Clean uninstall on everything except for the video driver

25
ok, how do I remove the ASRock V Drive driver?? unless u are speaking of the fantastic 3+ TB unlocker tool which has now been removed, i also uninstalled HWINFO64, utorrent has also been uninstalled. how do I ensure that I don't have any excess AMD/ATI dross loaded with CCC/Crimson and its the drivers only without CC/Crimson, I also made sure CCleaner will not delete any of hte dumps and i also selected the dumps to be saved (all) instead of overwritten but for now I will just uninstall CCleaner too..
