Thanks Boggin. I'll check out the Microsoft Support link you sent.

Hi Boggin. Thank you for your help these past few days. Today I created another topic on importing an Excel address list. Would you happen to knowledgeable
in this area? If so, could you comment on my thread?

Hi. I'm having difficulty creating and importing an address list with Excel. I've attached a couple of images to help show what's going on.

When I choose the proper format in Excel for Envelope Printer (in this case a csv file) a dialog box pops up (second image). From there nothing seems to
work properly. When I click "yes" or "no" the box usually pops up again.

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

4
Yes, thank you again. Maybe after all this something more can be learned about the program.

Much obliged, from Boston.

5
Victory! I did just as you did and it worked perfectly.

The attached image you sent was key. One look at that and I knew what I needed to try next.

Thank you for all your help. This was a tough challenge but I'm glad I can now use the program.

Have you printed to that size of envelope before ?

For me, that size is listed as Printer Supported but not for you.

I don't recall using my printer to print envelopes before. How can I tell if my envelope size is/isn't supported. It does appear in the drop-down envelope selection menu.

Edit: I printed an envelope (size 10) on my HP 1102w printer using MS Word. But the Envelope Printer app still isn't working for me.

Hi. I did all of the last steps but when I pressed "control, alt, delete" and clicked on the wifi icon the only things that came up was the "airplane mode" icon. When I clicked on that nothing happened.

But I did try to print yet didn't have any luck.

Hi. I finally got my screen recorder app working. Attached please find a recording of the last steps I made. It's a WMV (Windows Media Video) file.

9
Thanks. I did the steps you just mentioned. Attached is an image of the Error button results. Also, the MTB file showing the Event Viewer problems is attached as well.

Hopefully I did these steps correctly.

Hi. I went through the steps you mentioned but could only get to the part where you wrote,

"When it has read the data, click on Critical then on View All Instances of This Event then on the one that reports Hardware error."

I tried to make a video of it but my app isn't working properly. So, I put together some images and numbered the steps. Basically, though, I couldn't reach "hardware error".

Thank you. I'll have to give this a shot tomorrow morning. I'll send images of what I find.

Much appreciated!

Hi,

Thanks for your help. Could you do me a favor and list the steps I should take starting with Event Viewer. I know there are just a few but I'm at a confused state right now :-)

Edit: What should I do when I see the timestamp errors?

Hello Boggin,

Thanks for your help yesterday. I completed the last steps you provided and learned that the envelopeprinter.exe stopped responding. Please see attached images.

Where do you think I should go from here?

14
Thanks. I'll do this next in the morning. My wife just came home.

Hopefully you'll be around sometime tomorrow.

Thanks. I don't see "View All Instances" when I click on view. Also, I only see this is the upper-right hand corner.

I have attached an image - is this the "view" option you are speaking of?

Thanks. I got this far:

Right click on the Windows button and select Event Viewer - ensure Event Viewer (Local) is highlighted in the left pane - if it isn't, just click on it.

But when there I don't see a Windows Button. Please see attached. From what I understand there should be a windows button on this page.

Thanks. Wordpad prints as well as other programs but Envelope Printer for some reason doesn't. I just printed using Wordpad to double-check.

It's great to hear that you think that there's not a lot to go wrong with the program. This program is amazing.

Hi Boggin,

I tried reinstalling the Envelope Printer program but I'm not having any luck. First I uninstalled the original installation and restarted my computer. Then I re-installed the program and restarted my computer after doing that as well.

Not sure what to do at the moment. I need to print over 100 addresses and I'd love to use this program.

Thanks. Yes, printing another document in MS Word worked fine. I'll try reinstalling Envelope Printer.

Glad to hear its working fine for you.

Hi,

My printer is an HP 1102w. It's wireless but I have it connected via USB. However, I'm not getting any response when I try to print an envelope. The envelope size is 4.125 x 9.5.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
