General Computer Support / Re: Email hacking improvements needed;
« on: December 25, 2017, 12:32:15 am »
I remember when my mom was alive, she learned how to use a computer to be able to keep in touch;
Yahoo as it turned out declared her emails as SPAM... it was so much fun sifting through hundreds of BS to read moms...
"yahoo to this day has done nothing to improve"...

gmail is somewhat limited and monitored by google themselves for opportunities including stocks going up or down and passing that info to "global crap streets"...
gmail is also banned in china and other countries where products are manufactured.

No matter what we do, we need to improve on email security and at a minimum, don't give emails to people offering free software/services;

many tech companies are lamb and uneducated that they can use system ID no mater where one is in the world;
Wonder how many catch that term?

This program will prove to be useful;

"No more nuisance intruders"...
""Stealing my data, customers, money, etc...""

Now where can we download it?

I doubt that someone in China is stupid enough to try and hack Alibaba...

That assumption would appear to be incorrect.....

Yes, this area is true, however, we see the attacks coming from other areas that appear to be inside china.

Currently, Alibaba reply is that Spam/Hacking comes from everywhere and don't seem to be spending the time or money to update the online system;

Dear MSFT;

Please fix your software;

what are the Pros and cons of running in safe-mode with networking support?

The 'PayPal' entry looks like a spoofing attempt, sender IP is NL/Belize/Latvia (mail server location/registration/owner, I think), the IP is on at least 5 email spam blocklists, latest report I saw (I didn't dig) was 1 "Spam" entry [02:32:50 27 Sep 2017 GMT+00].

The other IP is a frequent spammer/spamvertiser/virus dropper, probably out of CN.

Wasted here, better to report them to a site that creates email blocklists and get a good email filter/blocklist yourself; if you're already digging these out of your spam folder, leave them there and delete them regularly.

Problem is; One can not block an address from which they pay for that service to do business such as alibaba...
Therefore, Email hacking improvements needed that contain inside spoofs...

I doubt that someone in China is stupid enough to try and hack Alibaba...

use outllook2003;

Have all my email accounts under outlook so can use/read/reply in one place;
I noticed that some accounts seem to take a while to load the reply window while others do not...

it's a typical notice of being hacked...

How to determine if that email is hacked/monitored by some third party?

General Computer Support / Networking in safety mode pros and cons?
« on: December 01, 2017, 07:33:21 pm »
Anyone have some links where we can learn good pros and cons of using intranet-working in safe mode with networking support?

How many websites you login to needing a QRCode scanning from your iPhone/android device to confirm its you?

Websites like cryptocrap still using images for verification as not a robot nonsense...
Also, I noticed that many crypto coin sites use similar types of tracking as XXX sites...

We also need to improve on that safety feature as well.

I'm curious why you guys never asks people to run auto-runs and post it to review whats going on inside before offering advice

Lets hope MSFt is as quick to fix it as tencent...

wonder what this error relates too?
not the first time I saw it.

Boggin, Sampson,

I probably catch more bugs by posting errors here than anyone else on your board

BTW, they read this board, problem solved a lot faster than a lot of advice given around here.

have a color full day...

After scanning, it doesn't login to QQIM

Thanks in advance

Reinstalling AOMEI will probably be a good idea but in Programs and Features, when you right click on it do you get a Repair option ?

I don't know why it is snagging that Netgear if that is your wireless dongle.

Can you go to Device Manager/View/Show hidden devices and check for any yellow alerts - you may need to expand Network adapters and Non-Plug and Play Drivers.

I don't know if you can get a driver update for the dongle, but if you aren't getting any connectivity problems then I'd ignore that error.

BTW - Is AOMEI a paid for or free program ?

Hi B,

I learned that I needed assistance uninstalling programs; that helped a lot of previous errors;
I would suggest that you ask people to download a "total uninstaller" program to uninstall programs they want to re-install. this will help problems in the areas of uninstalling what people also simply want to uninstall.

General Computer Support / Re: repair not working, even in safe mode
« on: November 17, 2017, 07:41:45 pm »
Hi B,

I would ask him;
Click the boot tab
Click the tick box that says start in safe mode
restart and then apply your ideas

Alos, noted that MSCONFIG in this case has a system flaw in that it don't select user account so it starts in administrators account which solves the problem of people not doing operations in administrator mode.

My Email address is "X";
But someone sent me an email to my "X" email address;
Yet it shows my "X" email address as [email protected]
Of course, [email protected] is not my email address at all

Seen this happening to frequently now;

What's going on here?

Everything Else / Do you know what AI will really be used for in the future?

You have a chance to draw a line in the sand;

you won't get a second chance to disallow AI to be used against human kind to ANY DEGREE...
