EDIT:  One other issue I noticed is that while I have my Start menu back, all of the icons/tiles are blanked.  Any ideas?


try resizing each tile and then resizing it back. I know its a pain to do each separately, but it worked for me.

Window 8.1 pro ie 11.
After 3 months of hair pulling, trying Every tip to fix ie11 (metro and desktop) from crashing, a happy accident brought me to this program.
I was just on the verge of total scrap and factory reinstall, which I would hate to do for just 1 program.
I downloaded Windows repair without any hope, just one last thing to try after 1001 things I had already done and it fixed it in 15 minutes!!!!:)

It just got a 6 star rating (out of 5 stars) for me.
