General Computer Support / Anyone Know where this file could be fromVFDFix.exe it was in vault folder

Anyone Know where this file could be from VFDFix.exe it was inside a folder on my machine I had not seen before until I tried to use a folder from inside drobox called vault. I am not sure if dropbox created it but I do not think so because it was dated 2/25/2016. Any help would be appreciated. I think I should delete it or not. I dont like executable files when I dont know where its from. Thanks in advance. Windows 10 operating system.

General Computer Support / Can I change my power supply and GPU in this computer?

Im running windows 10 64-bit and have an elite desk 800 g3 and the power supply i believe is 180 watts.
I am wondering if I can update the power supply and or get a better GPU.
I have heard that this computer has a weird connection to the motherboard from the power supply that would have to be worked around somehow to switch the power supply.
At this point I am not sure if its worth updating or not? It runs pretty good except when I have multiple monitors plugged in and the data on the monitors is busy. Im told this processor will not work with windows 11 so I am not sure how long I will be able to keep using it.
I would update it if I can figure out what I need to do to replace the GPU VX2250 SERIES on NVIDIA GeForce GT 730.
There also is a built in GPU in the Intel HD Graphics 630.
can you recommend which way I should connect my monitors to have the most memory available? Is there a better way to connect the monitors to the 2 graphics devices? Should I connect 2 monitors to the NVIDIA or only 1 to the Nvidia or ?
If I can update this power supply can you recommend what power supply to get and what GPU to buy.
For now until I change the GPU and power supply should 2 of my monitors connect to the nvidia or 2 monitors connect to the Intel graphics 630 to make it have the most memory available?  Do you think a new power supply would be possible into this hp computer?
What graphics card is there now that would run with the existing power supply of 180 watts that would be worth switching to if any?
Also can you recommend an app or program that I can install that will help me to visualize what those graphics cards are doing? 
I ran Speccy and see that virtualization is supported but is showing that its disabled. Do you think I should enable it and if so what is that going to do?

General Computer Support / Tascam Us-1800 Stopped Working Today

I have a Tascam US-1800 USB 2.0 Audio Interface that stopped working today or yesterday. October 3rd today 2021. I tried to reinstall the most recent driver but keep getting an error message Installation failed. Contact Tascam customer support (Error:Timeout-0x0005). I realize this is discontinued but it has been working well up to yesterday. Seems to be just an issue with some stupid windows update or something I cant figure out. Anyone out there know the procedure I should follow to get this up and running again?? TIA

Hi, i have owned a copy of Tweaking windows repair for a long while and have tried to use it but am worried I dont know what the heck I am doing and was wondering if you can direct me to the place I can learn to use the software effectively. I also am wondering if you can recommend a file manager to use. My cell phone is 32 GB and I am always almost always short on space. I have moved as many things as I can think of to a memory card but am wondering if there is something I can do to make more room inside my phone. I also was wondering about these programs if they work well with windows 10 and if you recommend installing these ? Thanks so much for iyour time!

Tweaking.com Support & Help / windows quick links is not working as it should after a windows crash.

I cant get the windows quick links to work anymore after a windows crash. I right click the tweaking icon in the taskbar and use to be able to go 1 of many options including the windows quick link but now when I open the quick link I am told that a pro version is required. I do have the pro version but my computer seems to have that part of the program left over in the cache or something like that. Can you tell me what to do to get that working again.

General Computer Support / letters are not in correct order on chrome or microsoft browsers

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

For some unknown reason, the web pages I look at have letters in the wrong place, the word the is often spelled like this (teh), the word TEMP shows up in front of some words and it was not suppose to be there. I would think its a driver problem but my drivers are reported to be upto date not sure what to do at this point---just a general odd layout. I have attached an image of some of the weird items. TIA!

General Computer Support / I seem to have broken my computer by trying to run windows repair

I have recently installed windows 10 over windows 7. I had paid for a pro version of the windows repair program and tried opening the program today for the first time in a long time and the program suggested I update so I starting the update program and it stopped installing and told me to reboot. Since then it has not acted the same. It seems like its no longer working correctly. Is there a fix for this? TIA
