What is "wmpnscfg" and how to really remove it?

In Services; it is disabled. but it still starts in my laptop.

It is a network share that has been disabled in services yet still running on my laptop...

would appreciate a reg key to remove it completely and or restore it later...

That is the windows media player sharing service, should be a 2nd one as well.

If you dont use it you can disable the media player sharing service :wink:
