IE11 unable to reach sites other then microsoft.com
« on: May 25, 2014, 11:06:59 pm »
After doing a full repair including regkey and file-permission-settings,
and installing kb2956575 and 2955164 i am left with ie11 only able to connect to microsoft.
Difference seen with my other computer is the CERTIFICATES.

1.How do i manipulate the certificate enviroment.
2.As my DNS was flushed must i look into that area???

Testing brought me to the conclusion that as i was running IE11 in 64-bit high secure mode and all kinds of XML-things disabled,
i did a "reset of the advanced otions" unde tools/advanced, and tatataaa i could go anywhere i like.

As this is NOT my desired state i have to carefully close-up my environment, but i think that losing 2 certificates of verizon might be the cause.

I thank the "inventor" and builder of "Windows repair (All-in-one)" for the f a n t a s t i c job.

I am now known to as i am registered. (if you would have openVMS problems)
Reagrds, Leonhard.

P.S. 27-05-2014  1.Running IE11 64-bit procs enable for enhanced security
                          2.Integrated Windows verification
3."Enhanced Security mode activate" , if box is checked only HTTPS sites reachable (still an issue !)
