Advanced format Drives
« on: March 21, 2012, 05:54:15 PM »
Advanced format drives seems to be a new issue now. And preety soon all drives will probably be advanced format. Sometimes windows would not install, would error after installation, sometimes windows would not update as well. There are also numerous other issues too. Possible solutions are an alignment tool, updating intel radid storage technology drivers or maybe the hotfix from microsoft and possibly others. Was wondering if you have/plan to have any fixes for this.

I haven't been keeping up on this, but from what I can tell it is to handle larger drives that will be coming out

Also from the looks of it drivers will be the answer, and for windows a OS update will fix it as well.

That western digital link has a lot of details on it
