Also, my windows repair simply calls WMI to make a restore point, so you can simply make a vbs script to create a restore point when ever you liks with just a double click of the file :-)

hi shane

I guess you missed Something that your program is only do a registry backup not a full system backup or a restore point Creator (your software only make a registry backup) and then we can do a restore point but otherwise we can do a registry backup with your software and not a full restore point Creator  ?
and i have no clue to how to making a vbs script or a bat file ! lol  :cheesy:

There is already a program like that: "Restore Point Creator"
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Back-Up-and-Recovery/Restore-Point-Creator.shtml
or you can do it yourself:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/67114-system-restore-point-create-system-startup.html

Tomas

Restore Point Creator has task scheduler Option but doesn't have a daily restore-point-create at system startup/next system boot and when we reboot our machines as in registry backup Option like shane’s program ?

Look at the screen shot to get the idea
