Solved webroot

i have Webroot anti virus on my pc i can use version 2.1 but the minute i try to upgrade to version 3 and above it prompts me that there is a virus and removes the files making the program inoperative. Ive even tried disabling my av when installing but when my av becomes active after a boot up it disables it again the tweaking 2.1 works fine but version 3 and above gets deleted by Webroot do you have a fix for this?

webroot removed the false positive now everything is up and running fine Thank You

False positives - this seems to be the way of the world these days.

You can contact Webroot support and let them know.

Just submit the file that it is blocking to webroot, they will then remove the false positive from their virus defs :-)

Which file is getting flagged by them?

To follow up -- I happened to get a response from their tech support. This is what they said for Webroot users.

"To identify your issue, it is necessary for Webroot to have log files from the Webroot SecureAnywhere application on the affected computer system. Please right-click the SecureAnywhere icon in the system tray (next to the system clock display) on the computer which is experiencing the problem, then choose "Help and Support". Select "Open a Support Ticket" on the Webroot support web site that opens. By following these steps, the necessary data should upload automatically for Webroot to review and troubleshoot."

the file is in my webroot quarantine:  c:\program files (x86)\tweaking.com\windows repair (all in one)\files\tweaking_winverify.exe
