Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to add Java and Flash temp files to Disk Cleanup so I can do it all in one fell swoop.

Just need to know the paths and I can add it to the disk cleanup tool in the windows repair program and get you the registry keys :-)

Hey Guys!

Sorry, I didn't reply sooner.

I think I figured out Java?

Java temp:    c:\Users\DerBengel\AppData|LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache
Then there are the 3 choices for deletion:
Trace and Log Files
Cached Applications and Applets
Installed Applications and Applets

Flash-I was reading that the plug-ins can be stored in different areas, depending on the browser you use...it would "seem" that there is no centralized Flash temp folder, even though you can go to it in CP and delete??? UGH

Firefox:
c:\Users\DerBengel\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Cache
c:\Users\DerBengel\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Cache2
c:\Users\DerBengel\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\OfflineCache
c:\Users\DerBengel\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\_CACHE_CLEAN_

Internet Explorer:
When experimenting, I saw it load into:
C:\Users\DerBengel\AppData\Local\temp, which I have always accessed it by Run: %temp%

I dunno, maybe I am way off here...if so, just let me know and I will try to delve deeper.

Alright Lets see if I did this right lol I attached java and appdata Save to \Programs\Tweaking.com - Windows Repair\CleanMgrScripts\
or where ever you have the program installed just make sure its in cleanmgrscripts

I usually don't delete everything in the appdata\local\temp but there you go if you want to delete that I'll give it a try and see what happens

LOL WOW! I am not 100% sure what I am doing here-you are saying that by saving the 2 .dat files in that folder will cause it to include those 2 functions in the cleanup, correct?

Wished I'd seen this thread sooner.

The free version of CCleaner auto cleans Flash Player files and Java can be selected also under its Applications tab.
