Running Pre-Scan
« on: January 29, 2016, 06:30:32 AM »
Having issues with my 64-bit Windows after the 14251 Insider Preview Update.  Running prescan and got the following message:

These Files Are Possibly Corrupt (Bad Digital Signature): (Total: 1)
C:\WINDOWS\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14251.1000.mum
Microsoft-Windows-SenseClient-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14251.1000.mum

Anybody know how I can fix this?  I do not have my Windows 10 install disk anymore.

Thanks Much,
Doug

If you have a working machine then there is provision for creating Win 10 bootable media in https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

However, a lot of Win 10 problems are caused by updates and it may be a case of either reporting this problem to MS or wait for the next Fast Ring release.

Shane is currently tied up with work from his computer business but Julian may be able to upload those files for you when next online.

prescan is meant for windows update but you can still run the other repairs if you have not already.
