11a . Task scheduler
quote from http://www.vistax64.com/vista-general/74045-cant-enable-task-scheduler-2.html

I came across this from a google search for Task Scheduler fix. I had disabled Task Scheduler via the program called Vispa. Soon i found out Task Schedular is very important because without it started in Services i was unable to use some features in System Mechanic. Going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Schedule i found that changingthe entery Name: Start, Type: REG_DWORD, from DATA: 0x00000001 (4) to DATA: 0x00000001 (1) allowed the grayed out start button to become selectable again in Services after i changed the value then reseted my computer... the button was no longer grayed out. Still you dont want value 1, you want value 2, DATA: 0x00000001 (2). This setting will also allow the Automatic/Disable/Manual/Automatic Delay setting to also become visable again
