I thought you said that after creating the new account that you were able to download apps ?

Yeah, but just on that account. Situation hasn't changed at all on my main account. That sounds like some messed up permissions for an user, doesn't it?

The final Pre-Scan Reparse Points highlighted missing files for a user account which was why I was going to suggest creating a new account.

I think that you are going to have to forget about that one and just use the new one.

I don't have an answer as to why accounts become corrupted - I guess that's just Windows ?

No way to hmm, restore, repair those account files? Which are those? I probably have some apps that are installed just for that account so that's why I don't want to create new. Also chances are after some time I will have to create new account because, well, Microsoft...
