So tired of being scammed into buying something UN-neccessary and dangerous;

I class those fixit programs alongside of Reimage which is quite often advertised in Google fix articles but has nothing to do with the actual fix the article is describing.

The unwary may click on the download link for it and end up with a program they will have to pay for before it will effect any repairs.

There will always be someone who will fall for them and there's nothing you can do about them.

I don't think that you put all the blame on MS. they actually did a good job, even patching unsupported OS like XP and Win 8.

Part of the problem is the govt agencies, such as the NSA stockpiling exploits and only notifying MS when they get stolen and get into the hands of the bad guys.
