idea for registry cleaning
« on: October 05, 2012, 09:20:17 AM »
Once I wrote you about cross referencing Ccleaner with another way of flagging issues in the registry to see which where in common but you said it was not possible as they were closed source.
I think you suggested we start a thread where people contribute entries that should or should not be flagged to help us avoid making errors.
I hope I have this right so far.
For example, I have tons of Silverlight and Dell Support Center entries flagged which comprise about 95% on the entries flagged.
Is it a sound idea to submit entries that should or should not be flagged when you consider that each pc is a bit different and so you may remove a vital file that is being shared, for example?
It would be great if it could be done.
