Well C: is quite clearly defined.

To view the chkdsk log open Event Viewer and ensure Event Viewer (Local) is highlighted in the left pane - if it isn't then just click on it.

When it has read the data expand Windows Logs - click on Application/View/Find then type chkdsk or wininit into the Find box and press enter.

Cancel the Find box and read the report in the scrollable window below.

You didn't answer my question as to whether the repair program will now boot you into Safe Mode.
Tom.

That only has chkdsk x: /r in a Notepad doc and no report.

I had asked you to use the partition letter it gave for you if you performed the chkdsk in the recovery environment but if you have performed the chkdsk in Windows from a Command Prompt (Admin) you would only need to enter chkdsk /r

You can copy & paste the chkdsk log from Event Viewer after viewing it by clicking on Copy details/Copy details as text in the lower right pane then right click in the reply box and select Paste.

For some reason that duplicates the report when you paste it but as long as the log doesn't report any KBs in bad sectors then there's no need to post it.

EDIT
- That looks fine.
