Improvements for the next WR
« on: January 19, 2019, 10:22:39 AM »
- In november 2018 Microsoft issued a new update for the "Servicing Stack" (??) for Windows 7 (KB 3177467). This update replaced/upgraded a number of existing files but also added a few new files. These new files can be registered with the "Regsvr32" command and therefore need to added to the list of files that are registered in the "Register systemfiles" repair. These files are all located in the System32 and Syswow64 folder

- These files are:

      apircl.dll
      apss.dll

- More info on what files are/were replaced/added can be found at the related webpage on the Microsoft website:

I don't know if Shane is already aware of this but I'll copy a link of your thread in an email to him.

- If he was aware of this then it would have been present in that one repair and it isn't. And I am talking about WR v4.4.1  !!!

For me a lot of what the program does scrolls too quickly up the screen for me to see what files are being re-registered.

I've emailed Shane so will have to see what he replies.
