How to reset everything I did with the Simple System Tweaker program?
tom866:
Hi everyone.
I accidentally "tweaked" my system by immediately clicking "Apply Tweaks" by accident upon the window opening (I got the pop up message about restarting very quickly and I just so happened to click twice in quick succession meaning I said yes to this too - the confirmation window would be better not appearing in the centre).
I want to completely undo everything the program did - do I just uncheck every tweak in each tab, and then make sure that the 4 checkboxes are checked at the bottom and then click apply (meaning this should reverse everything?)
This is what I have done already (the attached photo shows just one tab - all of the tabs have the boxes unchecked) and I just wanted to check that I'm right, thanks.

Actually, with regards to the visual tweaks - I just had to manually set it to the default myself using the built in Windows settings app.

Glad that you were able to get it sorted.

So can you confirm that I am right? - If I uncheck every single fix and then click apply all (but of course with each of the 4 sections checked at the bottom to apply that page's respective fixes) that undoes anything that this program did?
Like I said I didn't get to backup my registry because the program showed its dialog box so quickly - so my registry hasn't been damaged and I haven't made irreversible changes to my PC, right? Also, I'm running Windows 10.
Thanks :)

I would have unchecked the bottom four boxes as well.
If you click on Next you can also disable those tweaks as well
Click on the ? Help then on System Tweaks where it explains how to undo any tweaks.
