Hidden
« on: January 05, 2013, 04:21:56 pm »
Shane,

I have the registry back up program scheduled to run hidden. Last night I noticed it was running and you could see it on the desk top. It's running under current user account (The administrator account). Do I need to set it to run under system account?

Check the task scheduler and tell me what command line it is using to run with it. I think /superhidden is the hidden one you want.

Okay,

First off, when it runs it is fine. It's just not hidden. I switched to system account it does the same thing. Switched to run minimized, it still shows on desktop. Like I said, I ran it both hidden and minimized from both current account and system account and it still shows on desktop. Here is a picture. Was what you were asking me for. If so I had to manually check it in the task scheduler.

Post a screen under the actions tab, double click on the action and get me a screen shot :-)

Like this,

You have /auto which is hidden. You have to delete the old task and create a new one from the program, it doesnt overwrite.

Oe just edit the rule like in the pic and change /auto to -supersilent or /supersilent

That fixed it! So when I change how it runs I have to delete schedule and re-create it. Thank you sir.
