I started getting this error on 2 computers. The only common thing is I use BitDefender. The computer I am working on now is Windows Vista . The other is Windows 7.  I un-installed Bitdefender. Ran Malwarebytes. No malware found. I then ran microsoft fix it.  Getting an error that it cant download it. I ran your rapair all in one. Still unable to resolve the issue.
Thank You.

That error normally means that it got interrupted or blocked trying to talk to the Microsoft servers.

I had a user who had that problem a while back and he found what was blocking it but never told me.

Since your getting it on multiple computers I wonder if it is a dns problem. Try this trick, use the google Dns servers, either put them in your router or just manually put it on each machine (If you dont know how let me know)
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

After that reboot and then open a cmd window and put in
ipconfig /flushdns

Then try the updates again.

Also when you ran my repair tool what repairs did you run?

That did not change anything.
I ran every step and option in the All In One application.
Both computers got a Microsoft update on the same date. This is last time both computers got an update.
Do you know if the last update can be uninstalled without causing other problems? My internet connections are working
fine for everything except microsoft servers. Not able to download anything off their site.

Glad you got it going :-)

Not sure what causes this DNS problem. I know with my ISP if I use their DNS windows updates will start to work then crash with this error, if I do a ipconfig /flushdns it will work again for a short time then freak out again.

Using the OpenDNS or Goolge DNS servers I have never had the problem. And I cant get my ISP to listen to me on it lol
