sound, password and view problems
mr.snakeman:
O.K., on firefox password login was remembered even after shutting down and restarting the computer so there must be something wrong with IE. I seem to have a program "adaware" installed that I cannot uninstall. Symantec has a program that will remove it but when I try to use the program I am told that I don´t have administrator privileges and therby cannot utililize the program. What gives?
EDIT With firefox I now have the F1 circuit view that I did not have with IE.
Shane:
You should stick to using firefox, it is better than IE :-)
But lets still try to get IE working right :-)
Go to the control panel and open intern options. When that opens click on the advanced tab.
Towards the bottom you will see a reset button. Do that, this will tell IE to reset it self to default settings.
See if that helps :-)

mr.snakeman:
If anything, its worse. Every web page asks me if I want to install Adobe Flashruntime and if I say yes the bar does not go away and A F is not installed. F1 still does not show the race Circuit. and just about every wrong Before is still wrong. The password problem has not been solved. And now I have an asian woman find site on your site. If I want to make firefox my main brouser, how do I move all my IE favorites to firefox?
And now I´m blue screening.
Shane:
All that from justing setting IE to reset? Very very odd.
Go ahead and use firefox for now on.
And I want you to run combofix on your system to see if it finds any infections :-)

It is automated, so once it starts go have a cup of coffee.

Did what you said and now Firefox doesn´t work, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. Even Outlook won´t start up What to do?
