Prefetch folder will not open

When I click on the prefect folder it will not open. Is there a way to fix this? Running Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks.

What happens when you try to open it?

Are you just double clicking on it? Try right clicking on it and choose open, or in the start menu go to run and put in the path and hit enter and see if it opens that way

I have dnow both but seems to work fine in dos.

You still didnt tell me what exactly happens when you try to open it :-)

See, with a cmd.exe, if the folder has a desktop.ini file in it, if so delete it.

Ok will try that. When I try an open it it does nothing.
