Allen:
Do I download the SATA AHCI Driver, or the SATA Computer Intel SATA Support Driver? And I will be slipstreaming both the SATA driver and the other driver pack to the windows XP .ISO file I have via Nlite?
Thanks :-D
Shane:
Just do the driver pack and nlite.
The driver pack should already have the driver you need and then some.
Once you have the system reinstalled you will need that gateway download page to get the drivers for the rest of the system :-)
All of my install disks are slip streamed. I do a LOT of reinstalls for customers. It is such amazing time saver not having to hunt down drivers for the install.

Shane:
Oh and to make life a little easier add the LAN and wireless driver packs
Lan
http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/windows/7/x86/lan/12.04
Wireless
http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/windows/7/x86/wlan/12.03
This way when it is reinstalled the network will work and have internet access right from the start.
Better than getting the drivers on another system and getting them copied over.
Just another time saver :-)

Allen:
Sorry for sounding so ignorant, I just want to make sure that I do everything correctly.
I extracted the mass storage driver pack. In nLite, on the "Import Presets" page, I imported the mass storage .ini that was extracted (was this correct?), and on the following page there are several options, one being to "Integrate Drivers". Do I need to mess with that, or just "Create Bootable ISO"?
Thanks!
Shane:
Yes do the Integrate Drivers
That will add them to the dos setup of windows :-)
Taking the family to see avengers, be back soon.
