Not Repairing

Hello:

New to your product and not super tech savvy.  Using Windows Vista Home Premium version 6.0.6002     Have 2 problems.  Followed all your instructions.  Tried to back up and got fail message.  See attach.  Skipped and then attempted to repair and it ran all night and nothing happened.  I attached what I saw.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

You will need to say what your two problems are for Shane to help you.

As for the failed restore, I'm assuming System Protection is the same in Vista as it is Win 7 - can you go into System Protection and check that it's turned on for C: and in Configure that the slider is not set to 0MB - normally default 3 - 5%.

Have you tried to manually create a restore point ?

Shane:
Very odd! The fact that the logs shows the repairs started but they didnt move forward. I can tell that by looking at the repairs started in the log and it shows it was running for 2 min and the log hasnt changed.

Also for the registry backup error we need to look at the back log to see exactly what failed.

Do the repairs fail to run each time you try? If so I would like to connect to you with teamviewer (I will have you email me) and I want to take a look at it myself because this would be the first time I have ever seen the repairs not start. So I want to find out why :-)

Hi Shane,   I tried the repairs on several runs and nothing.

Boggin:
Did you disable your AV program for the duration and have you managed to create a manual restore point ?
