Cannot get access to the internet

Yes 2 external drives and a flash drive are attached. I ran jasper sky with all ticked and it is saying read errors on some files and the first time I ran it it failed running, it is still running now started it this morning and it is at 34 percent. Sorry forgot the name of programs you asked me to uninstall, had a few beers last night, what were they again.

AVG, and any and all of the other scanners you have installed, including any tools like hide my ip and anything that touches the network as well :wink:

                             Did you try microsoft service link for fixing. It include in its virus definition the citadel virus. hence, i recommended

I have him removing avg and the other scanners because I have had multiple customers who called me saying their internet didnt work any more and it turned out that the firewall in the AV was blocking it even when disabled. When I have them remove the AV the internet started working fine.

So to cover all the bases I am having him do the same. Better to make sure it isnt one of the many many scanners he has installed :wink:
