Ethernet NIC works in 7 not xp on same laptop

The problem remains.  I've managed to find working drivers for everything else.  When the sound actually came on, it was almost an epiphany!!

Boggin:
Can you run that Realtek Diagnostic tool again and check to see if anything else is in Event Viewer ?
