Hello, I need to create a vista repair disk
Rick:
x86 version, can you offer your download link for me?
thanks in advance
lucky me!
references;
rename the powershell folder
you can rename the powershell registry key, and search online for the instructions, only on MSFT website
Boggin:
I assume you mean an install disk ?
This is what I bookmarked from another thread that Shane had provided https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1bjzCHZkpy9ejgzMllaMlM4T2M/edit?pli=1 this includes SP2 and you can use ImgBurn to create a bootable disk. http://filehippo.com/download_imgburn

Hi B, the Big "The connection was reset from Google docs store"...
Shane, did you grab a copy before, I remember we ran through this error a while back and you mentioned you would grab those downloads.
thanks in advance
Boggin:
At which point did Google reset the connection as I'm doing a trial download of it now and it's a little over the 150MB mark ?
Edit - 2GB now and still going strong.
Boggin:
Update -
Successfully downloaded the ISO and created a bootable disk with ImgBurn but the Win 7 USB/DVD Burner Tool wasn't too keen on it even though it recognized it as an image file.
On trying it a second time, still got an error message about the DVD drive when it got to 99% - ran the MS Fixit before the second attempt but still got it.
That aside, try the download again in Safe Mode with Networking as it could have been your AV program that disrupted the download.
