Successfully downloaded the ISO and created a bootable disk with ImgBurn but the Win 7 USB/DVD Burner Tool wasn't too keen on it even though it recognized it as an image file.
On trying it a second time, still got an error message about the DVD drive when it got to 99% - ran the MS Fixit before the second attempt but still got it.
That aside, try the download again in Safe Mode with Networking as it could have been your AV program that disrupted the download.

Boggin; I am in shenzhen, you know where that is?
how about, upload it to another site so I can grab it :)
Boggin:
I assume Google is restricted/blocked.
I don't know how to upload it to another site as the only one is what Shane has supplied and I don't know another source, but right click on the link in my first post, select Copy shortcut then paste into http://www.fakeip.org/ to see if that gets you it.
Shane:
I had no trouble getting the file from there. They are not hacked versions so MS doesnt normally care, after all they provided Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 for download. They just never did with vista for some reason. But as long as they are untouched they dont seem to care.
It is very possible the ISP didnt download completely, which can happen, its a BIG file and if your connection drops or has trouble it will be a problem.
So instead what I do is I have the hashtab tool installed on my system and I can right click on a file and get the md5 or what ever I want of a file, then I can tell if the file downloaded all the way because it should the MD5 should match.
On the page here you will see they list the MD5 hash of each file
https://sites.google.com/site/gamejavame/home/may-tinh/downloadwinxpwin7win81linkduynhat
So if you grabbed this one en_windows_vista_sp2_x86_dvd_342266 then you should check if the MD5 hash of the iso you downloaded matches MD5: 19CA90A425667812977BAB6F4CE24175
If you need the hastab tool you can grab it here

Shane, I was wondering if this could be more to do with Chinese censorship given Rick's location in which case, he may be able to get to it through that Proxy site - although we don't know how stable his broadband connection is.
Any idea why the Win 7 USB/DVD Burner Tool had problems with it, or could this be because it pre-dates Win 7 and the tool ?
Shane:
Very possible why his connection might be tough on getting it.
As for the USB tool it is very simple, once it formats the usb and sets the boot record on the USB it simply extracts the ISO just like you can with 7-zip or winrar.
So if you get an error extracting then chances are the file didnt finish downloading.
