Boggin, Restore points don,t restore the router default settings too :)
Recently updated the Bios on Netgear JNDR
I am still waiting the new device we ordered to test.

Sorry - should have read the link to see what had been done.
Normally you would back up the router's config before making any changes just in case they don't work out and that is how you could have reverted.
When you get your new router and have it set up, while you're logged into it look to see if it has that facility and back up the config once everything has been applied.

this router seems have a mind of its own; trying to reset the router using the router doesn't work, not even hard reset.
