after setting to auto; lets start over;
now were on channel 13 and only at 130mb, should be 300mb
For reference; were using a netgear jndr router;
we recently added the newer bios to the router;
we have checked www.speedguide.net for all possible settings;
we have noticed the realtek has gone back to the xp platform and using a software platform to achieve the results we were getting without the software.

You seem to have quite a lot of devices listed - have you had other network devices installed prior to the Realtek USB ?
Can you right click on the WiFi icon in the Taskbar then on Open Network and Sharing Center - Manage wireless settings and tell me if you have more than one SSID listed there.
I also find the list of SSIDs puzzling - specifically the first three.
Do you have a wireless router as well as the USB ?
Can you open a command prompt and enter ipconfig /all
Right click in the text area - click on Select all - press enter then paste into the reply box.

Answer; the first one is the neighbors. other two and three are mine...

Reply; yes, often the wifi adapter drops off... so keep them both on till we solve the realtek mess!
