So what happens when you open a cmd.exe window and put in, can you post a screen shot of what it says?

chkdsk c: /r

Normally it should say that it cant fix the file system while it is in use and would you like to schedule it for next boot, then you hit Y and then reboot and the scan should start before windows starts.

Indeed.Thats the behaviour but i don't get it.Why would the Chkdsk before winows say everything is fine while the one after booting windows say something is messed up.Chkdsk Boot Scan contradicts Chkdsk OS.Wtf?
