I always thought that SysWOW64 was for 64 and System32 was for 32 bit bits ?

Nope, on a 32 bit system there is no syswow64 folder, so of course everything in system32 is 32 bit.

But on a 64 bit system everything in system32 is 64 bit. This is because the system is 64 bit, so to handle 32 bit programs they put them in the syswow64 folder. I dont know why they named it that since it has the word 64 in it, so it does get confusing, 32 in one folder and 64 in the name of the other yet the files are switched lol

I know it's been a while, but my problem came back after I updated the BIOS.
Does that tell you anything we don't already know?
