Try this ESET.exe - it reinstates services normally taken out by an infection, but I think given the number of files showing as deleted that it would be best if you backed up your personal stuff and factory reset.

Boggin; I like your remark here; however; is there a way he can post his current services settings without sending him someplace to make unnecessary changes?
is it better to look at what is happening than make more problems? some other programs maybe have them set to where they need to function, we can not know all the programs he has...

I would; try these two files in this order;

Run each one separately from ADM account;

Then Download the new update agent for your/his version;

Another tool one might try using;

still not working?
He/she is most likely using a un-licensed version!
