Something blocks my repair - it cannot run (Windows Repair v3.3.1)

The Windows Repair never really starts, so yes, right from the beginning and the log therefor don't say anything. WinRep just says, that something is blocking, and should be unblocked before trying again. I already did disable my antivirus, which is why I don't have any more ideas of what to 'close', disable etc.

I only operate the WinRep in safe mode, but it doesn't help  :shocked:

- Are you able to open the main repair screen ?

I can open all the different sheets in WinRep. Only problem is, that when I go to Step 5 "Repairs" and start it, it cannot begin properly. It tries four times, and then says "that something is blocking"

Also: does anyone know why sfc /scannow just closes down after running and no report is to be found anywhere?

I really appreciate all your efforts to help my - I am not much into these kinds of areas  :wink:

It's possible that it's because sfc /scannow has found something.

Does the sfc /scannow complete in Safe Mode ?

Yes, sfc /scannow completes 100% without any problems.
