Should this solve the problem? Or will we know later.
Heh.
I just created a manual restore point. We shall see.
If there were a whole bunch and they were not showing, could that have been from past malware?
Julian:
have you turned off system restore on drive c: and turned it back on that may be the next option.
Steevo:
Not yet. It was set for zero space when I started this process, several months ago.
I'll see what happens in the next couple days.
How the heck do you know about those commands?
I have been around a long time, and I do use command prompts and cli.
But I didn't know about those.
I don't know about the inner working of that stuff, very low level.
Julian:
self taught on most stuff I know or researched and researched till my eyes bleed lol I'm like Shane when it comes to computer's and fixing "OCD" except I'm more bi-polar ha!
I love to make batch files to do stuff for me so I try to learn how to do what ever I need for that to happen ;) I wish I could program like Shane can my goal right now is to learn powershell scripting and c++. There is a lot of stuff I know but not everything because everyday helping other people on the forums, I learn something new almost everyday.
